From my lips to God’s ears,

are my words of purpose and meaning.

From my lips to God’s ears,

are my thoughts mixed with my feelings.

From my lips to God’s ears,

sometimes not words but crying and sobbing.

From my lips to God’s ears,

like a child I am, so on Him I keep on nagging.

From my lips to God’s ears,

I don’t need my intellect, but my heart to be pouring.

And from your lips to God’s ears,

could come an answer that you’re seeking.

From your lips to God’s ears,

could fulfill the dreams you keep dreaming.

From your lips to God’s ears,

Could make your life a bit easy.

And from your lips to God’s ears,

it will be your soul that is winning.
