Finance Manager
Summary
The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the full finance function of the affiliate, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, strong internal controls, full statutory compliance, and effective management of financial resources. The role provides strategic financial insights, manages budgets, oversees credit and treasury, drives process improvements, and develops the Finance team
Responsibilities
- Provide full financial leadership to the affiliate, ensuring strong governance, accuracy, compliance and strategic value creation across all financial domains.
- Lead end-to-end financial reporting including month-end close, variance analysis, financial statements, and Group-level submissions.
- Implement strong internal control systems, ensure segregation of duties, monitor compliance gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee tax planning, statutory filings, customs documents, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Direct budgeting and forecasting cycles, challenge assumptions, validate inputs, and support business leaders with financial insights.
- Monitor liquidity, cash-flow planning, bank balances, exposures, and initiate treasury actions to maintain optimal working capital.
- Negotiate and manage bank facilities, loans, credit lines, FX exposure and ensure alignment with Group Treasury guidelines.
- Lead credit risk assessments, monitor customer exposures, ensure adherence to credit policies, and oversee collection follow-up.
- Review and approve financial reconciliations including balance sheet, fixed assets, accruals, inventories and provisions.
- Supervise ERP deployment, ensure data integrity, validate system configuration and champion digital finance initiatives.
- Lead internal and external audit processes, coordinate information requests, respond to audit findings, and close action plans.
- Guide investment proposals, validate ROI assumptions, monitor and review CAPEX performance.
- Ensure high-performing Finance team through coaching, KPIs, succession planning, workload balancing and structured capability development.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director and Regional Finance Director on strategic decisions, risk mitigation, commercial reviews and cost optimization.
- Ensure Finance acts as a strategic partner to all business units, giving timely insights for decision-making and business growth.
Education and Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- CA qualification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, reporting and controlling
Requirements
- 3–8 years’ experience in a Finance managerial role.
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience.
