Digital Media Marketing

Summary

A role with a multinational company with a focus on development, evaluation, negotiation, and activation of all Brand Media, Entertainment Content, and Digital connections with consumer.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a firm understanding of the Media & Digital marketplace
  • Supply and demand negotiation dynamics
  • Changing media consumption/lifestyle habits
  • The emergence of new media/entertainment platforms
  • Develop and execute strategy for Media and Digital
  • Lead consumer engagement and social listening/monitoring
  • Lead digital transformation and digital-first mind-set
  • Work in concert with Brand Management to identify opportunities and strategies that result in a competitive advantage for the Brands
  • Leverage buying power and relationships to maximize consumer impact of the Brands.
  • Ensure effective delivery of Brand message through the implementation of the integrated marketing communication process
  • Increase the relevancy of Brands through enhanced Brand image and brand health measures
  • Interface with Africa Zone Consumers Connections, Brand Management teams from Southern BU countries to establish related Brand Marketing/Media objectives, strategies, and initiatives.
  • Use of analytic solutions to help understand and connect with consumers
  • Lead and influence media agencies to improve media plans and executions impacting brands. Ensure alignment with media policies and guidelines

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant field 
  • Familiar with Digital marketing channels and analytics 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage both internal & external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of marketing, digital, and media.
  • Interactions with Media and creatives agencies, Brand teams and Zone connections team
