Information Technology Business System Officers
Summary
The purpose of the job is Business Systems Application Support.
Responsibilities
Business Systems Application Support:
- Support of all the channel applications (e.g. Mobile, Agency, Internet Banking, and interfaces) Tanzania.
- Execution of daily backups and monitoring checklists.
- Support on other Business Systems e.g. FCC, Sybrin, CBOS, etc.
Common IT Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate with team members in the bank’s IT projects.
- Follow procedures to ensure no unauthorized physical and logical accesses are gained into the Data Centre and the systems respectively.
- Execution of End of Day (EOD) Procedure on FCUBS
- Refreshing of EOD reports
- Execution of dummy end month/year
- Application support on other Business Systems e.g. FCUBS, BIP, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Cash management, etc.
- Support of all the channel applications (e.g. ATMs, Agency Banking, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, and other interfaces)
- Execution of daily backups and monitoring checklists.
- Support on other Business Systems e.g. Core Banking System, Cheque Truncation System, Account Opening System, Treasury System, Loan Booking and Monitoring system, etc.
- Key member in all ICT related projects
- Familiar with Oracle BI Publisher or Vision BI report generators.
- Support of Payment System Applications (TISS, TIPS, SWIFT, RTGS etc)
Education and Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology

- At least four (4) years working experience in IT Environment.
- Familiarity with service delivery culture and support function.
