Senior IP Engineer
Summary
Design and deliver scalable IP network solutions, translate customer requirements into executable designs, troubleshoot complex network issues, apply advanced routing and VPN technologies, and lead project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Overall network design: Be familiar with the basic network architecture, have the capability of designing networks, and have designed networks for more than 100 NEs.
- Solution capability: Lead the clarification of customer requirements and solutions, and output executable solutions based on the network design.
- Troubleshooting: Have the IP network architecture thinking, be able to quickly identify and locate network problems, and develop solutions.
- Master routing protocols: Be proficient in core IP network protocols, including MPLS, SRv6, IPv6, BGP, IGP (OSPF/IS-IS), and various VPN technologies.
- Team capability: Have served as the project TL and have the capability of leading the team to deliver projects and managing plans.
Education and Qualifications
- Education and major: Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in communications or related fields.
- Experience: At least five years of experience as a network engineer, and experience in delivering medium- and large-sized projects is preferred.
- Technical competencies: Proficient in core IP network protocols, such as MPLS, SRv6, IPv6, BGP, and IGP.
- Certifications: HCIE, HCIP, and CCIE certificates are preferred.
- Other qualities: Experience in access networks, data center networks, or enterprise projects is preferred.
