Summary

A Restaurant is currently seeking an experienced F&B manager for their upcoming branch in Tanzania. Responsibilities for this role include overseeing quality control, establishing targets and procedures, managing day-to-day operations, addressing customer needs, managing social media channels, and controlling inventory. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring quality control is a top priority
  • Establishing targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures
  • Managing all F&B and day-to-day operations to the highest standards and within budgeted guidelines
  • Proactively identifying and addressing customers' needs and concerns
  • Managing social media channels
  • Implementing effective stock control measures
  • Reporting directly to owners on sales results and productivity
  • Handling recruitment and staff training
  • Creating and managing shift schedules
  • Monitoring staff performance and providing feedback
  • Purchasing and controlling inventory
  • Tracking revenues and expenses
  • Analyzing and acting on customer feedback

Education and Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years proven experience as F & B manager 

Characteristics

  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Swahili
  • Proficient in various computer software programs including MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems
  • Skilled in delegating multiple tasks effectively
  • Capable of working well under pressure
  • Strong communication 
  • Demonstrates strong leadership abilities and charisma
  • Proficient in inventory management
  • Possesses excellent organizational skills
  • Able to multitask efficiently
