Summary
A Restaurant is currently seeking an experienced F&B manager for their upcoming branch in Tanzania. Responsibilities for this role include overseeing quality control, establishing targets and procedures, managing day-to-day operations, addressing customer needs, managing social media channels, and controlling inventory.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring quality control is a top priority
- Establishing targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures
- Managing all F&B and day-to-day operations to the highest standards and within budgeted guidelines
- Proactively identifying and addressing customers' needs and concerns
- Managing social media channels
- Implementing effective stock control measures
- Reporting directly to owners on sales results and productivity
- Handling recruitment and staff training
- Creating and managing shift schedules
- Monitoring staff performance and providing feedback
- Purchasing and controlling inventory
- Tracking revenues and expenses
- Analyzing and acting on customer feedback
Education and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years proven experience as F & B manager
Characteristics
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Swahili
- Proficient in various computer software programs including MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems
- Skilled in delegating multiple tasks effectively
- Capable of working well under pressure
- Strong communication
