Summary

To drive People strategies across the region in conjunction with zone, local network of experts and Business Partners, supporting the appropriate balance between zone organisation needs and local context / realities

Responsibilities

Regional People Strategy design and delivery
  • Provide strategic guidance to region leadership on people matters and ensure alignment of people strategy with business strategy
  • Contribute to the Zone 1 year plan and 3 year plan by delivering on the requirements as detailed in the plans.
  • Manage the people function in the business unit, focusing on talent attraction, Induction & onboarding, people cycle ,  internal communications, learning & development needs, employee engagement, employee relations and performance package management.  This is delivered by providing context and requirements from the organisation to the respective NoEs to ensure these can be translated in People strategies and programs
  • People sustainability index – driver the levers that contribute to the Zones performance
      People Continuity
  • Together with the local talent and learning & development teams , develop and implement a strategy to (a) build strong recruitment programs to attract talent and (b)  grow and develop talent (c) drive high employee engagement in the region
        Rewards & Recognition
  • Develop Recognition Programs in order to drive the retention of key talent in the region
  • Manage compensation in the region within the reward strategy guidelines.
        Performance Package Management
  • Drive the target setting process in the region and ensure adherence to timelines
  • Drive the execution of the workforce evolution strategy as defined by the Zone
  • Manage People Package both sensitive and non-sensitive
         Industrial and Employee Relations
  • Own the IR and ER agenda (including Supply and Logistics) in country and drive alignment on IR related topics between Sales, Support, Supply and Logistics
  • Validate and sign off the final collective labour agreement and any other labour subject with legal implication in co-decision with other stakeholders where applicable
  • Guide and coach local Business Partners and People Specialists
  • Regularly track performance of the People function in the organisation unit and escalate risks as required
  • Trusted advisor to the region leadership team contributing to the strategy and plans of the region.
     
    Internal Communications
  • Develop a clear multi – media (@workplace, cheers, internal comms, blogs etc) communication strategy for the region aligned to the Zone and Global Communication guidelines

Education and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years working experience within/across functions

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the People function
  • Business analytics and insights
  • Agile ways of working
  • Highly numerate
  • Fluency in English and local organisation languages as required
