Credit Analyst
Summary
Job Purpose
Credit Analyst will be responsible to evaluate creditworthiness of individuals or businesses applying for loans by analyzing financial data, credit reports and other relevant information.
Responsibilities
Principal Accountabilities

Preparation of credit applications for submission to credit committee.

To review and analyse credit and financial information for correctness before submitting the application to Credit Committees.

Schedule facility reviews as they become due with sufficient time allowed to complete renewals.

Obtain financial statements from clients for analysis.

Accompany ARM on client visits and conduct review discussion with client, gathering information required to complete the credit application.

Complete any interim credit reviews required by clients.

Prepare extension requests if annual reviews cannot be completed on time.

Remain abreast of industry developments affecting the portfolio and conducting peer group analysis as part of credit analysis.

Assist in preparation of portfolio reports etc pertaining to the respective portfolio.

Review of securities during facilities annual review to confirm completeness of documents perfection.
Education and Qualifications

Ability to learn and capture new things in a fast pace.

Ability to analyse and interpret financial statements.

An orderly and well-organized approach to the job, with high attention to detail.

An independent thinker who can form a credit view given limited information and is not easily influenced.

An enquiring mind and perseverance.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Credit Analysis
