Now start thinking about wonders. Think magic. Oh Think Creation. Think of only seven wonderful things on Earth, for it is one of them. I will tease with Olduvai Gorge having the skull of the first man, for yes we did visit this place. Does this mean the first man was a Maasai? For I note there is a certain book that states how a man used to live with animals each and every day. This was, just once upon a time. A longer time before us. But here we know that it's been only a few years, when the Masaai tribe were now forced to stop living with animals, move away from the place, and get out of the way. In a place they called home. This chasing is disruptive. No wonder most Tanzanians have not visited Olduvai Gorge. No wonder we do not know that that's where the skull of the first man was found.

Oh Tanzania. My Tanzania. Oh Serengeti. The land each human should visit one day. The rough game drive was what had me on. We were on a safari. Living in Africa, we have tourists thinking that the one act of visiting animals is what is referred to as a safari. People would visit Zanzibar or any other island and think that is not a safari. But, long story short, safari means journey, and to a few like :” Albany James,,,, and Mr. Prince, it's a beer. SBS(Safari Baridi Sana). Well ours was a long one, taken from Dar with no rest, but no tiredness. Was it the people? Was it the excitement of visiting a new place? Or was it the joy of meeting new people and those we have not seen in a while since we had the same celebrations a year before the 24th of September 2023. In all matters, the trip remained exciting, getting us awake at 4am to latest 5am. We were separated in different land cruisers but we could completely see each other’s joy within our cars. Fujo kila kona. Everyone was enjoying everyone’s company. The time limit gave me a beautiful rush in my adrenaline as we had and wanted to see everything, but by this time, it was already the second day in Arusha, the evening was coming to us, and the trip to the deep plains of Serengeti had not started. We had to improvise. See some things and not see some on the road. As much as we wanted to continue sightseeing, we also wanted to finally arrive in this so-called Serengeti. One of the Seven Wonders of the world. Before, I always wondered why they said that each day, but the moment I visited, I realized, it's underrated. Everything they say is less. Everything I will say will be less compared to the real beauty of the place. We should be louder about it. About its beauty. The picture of me brushing my teeth as I stare at that Giraffe. The picture of a small tape being held and we are told that this is the border, lions are on that side and leopard. on the other hand. The rush of being told, do not have any type of food in your tent or else we will forget who you are by tomorrow evening. The rush I felt when the leopard was right next to our car and we were told, silence(Tulieni). The rush and nervousness when told to move together and not dare go to the bathroom alone gave me joy I couldn't explain. And the Journey had just began.
