Summary
The Administrator (Site Work Coordinator) will be responsible for supporting the coordination of site activities by managing administrative tasks, facilitating communication between teams, and ensuring the availability of necessary documentation and resources.
Location: Tanga
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the site management and engineering teams.
- Manage and maintain site-related documentation including work permits, timesheets, and logistics records.
- Coordinate internal and external communication between project stakeholders, subcontractors, and support teams.
- Organize and support site meetings including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute-taking, and action tracking.
- Assist in logistics planning including accommodation, transportation, and material delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of personnel on-site and support onboarding/offboarding procedures.
- Monitor and support compliance with project safety and documentation standards.
- Track and update project schedules, deliverables, and document control logs in coordination with the site lead.
- Support local content obligations through reporting and engagement with local stakeholders.
- Manage administrative procurement of office supplies and coordinate field support requests.
Education and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
Preferred Additional Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting Schneider Electric or similar EITS/EPC contractors
- Fluency in English; Swahili or French is an asset
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role on construction, energy, or infrastructure projects.
Industry Exposure
- Experience in oil & gas, EPC, or infrastructure projects with site-based operations.
Technical Tool/Software Proficiency
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Document control systems (e.g., SharePoint, SAP, or project-specific platforms)
