Health and Safety Engineer
Summary
Ensure compliance with legal, contractual and international regulatory requirements for the Environment, Occupational Health, Worker Safety, Quality Management and Social Responsibility towards its employees, society and customers, following corporate guidelines, developing and implementing internal standards and procedures, advising the company's areas in the process of accident prevention and compliance with requirements related to the environment, promoting the well-being and adequate working conditions for employees, in addition to preserving the interests of the sites and the company's image before the communities and current legislation of the location.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and international regulatory requirements.
- Follow corporate guidelines to develop and implement internal standards and procedures.
- Advise company areas on accident prevention and compliance with environmental and safety requirements.

Promote employee well-being and ensure adequate working conditions.

Preserve the interests of company sites and maintain the company's image within communities and in compliance with local legislation

Other activities related to the department.
Education and Qualifications
- Higher education in Civil, Environmental or Production Engineering with specialisation in Safety Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of safety standards.
- Knowledge of planning and control of goals and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
Requirements
- Minimum experience of three (03) years in the role or in similar positions
- Fluency in the language of the country where you will work
