Summary

The trainer will be a part of the Company's Training Academy. The academy trains drywall installers, Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and others in the building construction sector on the correct installation of system-based approach Company's drywall systems.

The Company will train the trainer on both theoretical and practical aspects. By the end of the training, they will not only be required to know the systems and products of the Company and its partners but also communicate our products and systems in the training conducted at the site.

Responsibilities

• The trainer is responsible for conducting onsite training in all ongoing building construction projects about our systems and products.
• He is also to ensure that the training materials necessary for the training are always ready, and equipment is ready and well taken care of.
• Responsible for collecting sales leads from the site and sharing it with the responsible technical sales representative to close the deal.
• Identifying, recording, and following up on new and ongoing projects/ sites to conduct training on our products and systems.
• Practical demonstration of the proper use of our products and systems to installers through ongoing projects.
• Link the technical sales team with the project managers of obtained/discovered projects to close sales.
• Identify top construction sector companies so the technical team can establish rapport before other projects are won.
• Recording and Reporting training progress and sales made to establish ROI.
• Onsite competition products analysis and reporting.
• Working with the product development team to determine the current market trend and competition presence at sites.
• The trainer will also participate in testing products and systems at the site and participating in promotions and offering technical support to customers.
• The trainers will be responsible for making sure that the training van is always neat and ready.

Education and Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Diploma/Degree.

 

Requirements

• Prior experience in Technical Sales or as a Technical Training Instructor
• Experience: None but having worked with projects (building construction) is an added advantage.

Characteristics

• Must have a valid driving License (Manual drive is necessary)
• The job will involve a lot of traveling so the trainer has to be ready to always move.

• Languages: Fluent in English and Kiswahili

• Literacy: Computer literacy, Reading, Writing and ability to read and understand construction drawings
