Summary

The Head of Analytics will manage and provide insight as well as aid in business decision-making in the bank.  He/she will be responsible for overseeing the creation and maintenance of data-driven insights that help the organization make better decisions. 

Responsibilities

• Planning projects to produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions.
• Drive improvements in business by providing insights and analysis.
• Refining the processes used by their team to ensure that they’re working efficiently and producing high-quality results.
• Analyzing data to identify patterns or trends that could indicate problems within the business
• Develop and prepare strategies for Business Intelligence processes for organization.
• Writing reports and presentations that present data and findings in a clear and concise manner
• Advocating for business intelligence solutions that will help the organization meet its goal
• Working with senior management to develop goals, objectives, and strategies for improving business performance using BI tools
• Manage, develop, and grow a team of Business Intelligence Engineers and analytic professionals
• Lead a team to create actionable business insights to answer business questions, drive business decisions, and develop recommendations to improve operations
• Drive a business intelligence roadmap; prioritize analysis requests to balance the tactical and strategic information needs of the business
• Present analysis and recommendations to senior leaders, using data-driven storytelling and influence to drive improvements in business operations and strategic change
• Lead the definition and governance of key business metrics, drive the vision and building of automated dashboards and self-service analytic capabilities, and engineer data-driven processes that drive business value.
• Recommending changes to existing business intelligence processes or policies to improve efficiency
• Monitoring industry trends to identify upcoming challenges or opportunities for the organization

Education and Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, mathematics, economics or any other related fields,

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience
• Atleast 3-5 years Management experience
• Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.
• Expertise with preparing reports.
• Knowledge of Excel, Power-points or any other visualization tools
• Financial Services/ Bank Experience is a plus
