Brief Description of Role:
- Deliver HSE Leadership Based on Scope of Work and Project Evolution for EITS Contractor
- Implement OHS (HSE) Management System
- Steer HSE Related Legal and Regulatory Compliance
- Steer HSE Operations
Responsibilities
- Implementation of HSE management system.
- Steer HSE Legal & Regulatory Compliance
- Steer HSE Operations
- To promote and ensure implementation of relevant HSE standards
- To enforce the observance of all relevant local HSE regulations, aiming at continuous improvement and HSE awareness.
- Providing health and Safety trainings for staff and Contractors.
- To correct in a timely manner any deficiencies, non-compliance, and unsafe conditions.
- To take part in safety inspections and audits with location management, line supervision and HSE Representatives.
- Promoting an effective HSE culture
- To have access to all statutory health and safety documentation and copies of the Company's policies, procedures, and standards on H3SE.
- To Facilitate (with systems and tools), Measure and Monitor HSE Performance.
- Implement a highly structured, collaborative, accurate and regularly updated HSE documentation and record keeping system
- Key Member of Emergency Response Team (ERT)
- Key Member of Incidents Investigation Team (IIT)
- Key Member of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Team
- Key Member of HSE Audit Team
- To perform any assignment as directed by your supervisor.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Environmental Science & Management or any related degree
- HSE License / Certificate as per local regulation (NEBOSH/NOSHC) as well as ISO Certifications.
Requirements
- At least 10+ years work experience in a similar role at a recognized and reputable firm / company
- Computer-Literate with Strong Skills in Microsoft Word Packages: WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, TEAMS, OUTLOOK
