Summary

The Construction Manager will plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. He/she will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct the construction site including buildings, infrastructure, and amenities.
  • Review the project’s construction in-depth to schedule deliverables and achieve the estimated costs
  • Oversee all onsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
  • Review the work progress on a daily basis
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
  • Negotiate terms of new agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
  • Ensure quality construction standards and use the proper construction techniques
  • Create and manage a dedicated team for specific on-site operations.
  • Responsibility for inspections including but not limited to structural & MEP.
  • Work closely with architects and engineers to establish the requirements

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-year experience in a similar position of construction
