As we embark on a transformative journey to transition into a digital insurance business, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary CEO to lead this pivotal change.

Position Summary:

The CEO will be responsible for driving the strategic vision, culture, and operational excellence of the company during its transition from a traditional insurance model to a digital-first approach. This role requires a leader with a deep understanding of both the insurance industry and digital transformation strategies.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with the company’s mission and market opportunities.
    • Drive innovation in product offerings, leveraging technology to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  2. Operational Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that traditional practices are integrated with digital processes.
    • Foster a culture of agility and responsiveness to market changes, encouraging teams to adopt digital tools and methodologies.
  3. Market Positioning:
    • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the digital insurance space.
    • Position the company as a leader in digital insurance solutions, enhancing brand recognition and customer loyalty.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and industry partners.
    • Communicate the company’s vision and strategy to employees and stakeholders, fostering a shared commitment to the transformation.
  5. Financial Stewardship:
    • Develop and manage the company’s financial strategy, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability during the transition.
    • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance metrics, driving accountability across the organization.
  6. Team Development:
    • Attract, retain, and develop a high-performing leadership team skilled in both traditional insurance and digital capabilities.
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation, ensuring employees are equipped to thrive in a digital environment.
  7. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, adapting to changes in the insurance landscape as digital offerings evolve.
    • Advocate for best practices in data security, privacy, and ethical standards in the digital space.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is preferred.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years in senior leadership roles within the insurance or financial services sectors
  • Proven experience as a CEO or in other managerial positions within the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation strategies and technologies, particularly in the insurance sector.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Experience in emerging markets
