Summary

We are looking for an experienced and well-organized  Sales Engineer to provide the necessary support and be in charge of Technical Sales. The successful candidate will become the point of reference for colleagues and clients, by doing both sales and technical duties, keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation and information. 

Responsibilities

• Communicating with clients, maintaining Clients (New and Old)
• Proactive in case of any clients request i.e technical etc
• Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material
• Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested
• Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and present reports
• Handle the processing of all orders and requests with accuracy and timeliness
• Inform clients of unforeseen delays or technical problems.
• Monitor the team’s progress, identify shortcomings and propose improvements
• Ensure adherence to laws and policies
• Take full charge of all tenders & provide support to the wider team on the technical aspect of every tender

Education and Qualifications

• Technical/Engineering Graduate/ Diploma with Commercial Experience. 
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in renewable energy sales

Requirements

Must be familiar with:

•             Solar PV systems and accessories

•             Borehole Solar pumps

•             Grid Tie systems

•             Renewable Energy Hybrid Systems Sizing and Installations of the above.

 

Characteristics

• Expected to travel away from Duty station (Dar es Salaam) for a minimum of one week in a month.
• Ability to drive Manual Vehicles
• Self-motivated individual 
• Strategic Thinker and Executer
• Numerical report and proposal writing in Kiswahili and English skills is a must.
• Presentation in Kiswahili and English skills is a must.
